The 2010 Alpina BC Backcountry Touring Cross Country Ski Poles are the perfect choice for all conditions in the backcountry as well as kick and glide stride in groomed nordic ski tracks or snowmobile trails. Excellent maneuverability on both ascents and descents. Perfectly balanced weight for initiating and executing flawless telemark turns too. The high-performance shaped cork grips are durable and super-easy to hold, while simultaneously helping to keep your hands from getting cold. Also features very supportive wide and easily adjustable wrist straps. The Alpina BC Backcountry Touring poles have a strong aluminum 7075 grade construction, ensuring a great strength-to-weight ratio with excellent swing weight that prevents arms from getting fatigued during classic kick and glide stride. Large fixed snow baskets work very well in the deepest of snow conditions too. Long lasting steel tips hold a sharp point.
Recommended Use:
Universal backcountry and recreational touring ski poles for kick and glide stride (classic technique) and assisting on uphills. Works well in all conditions and terrain. Peak performance in the backcountry in deep powder, logging roads, snowmobile trails or exploring untracked woods and ski trails. A good kick and glide stride pole in groomed ski tracks too.
