Back by popular demand and sporting an all-new awesome look, the 2012 Alpina X Terrain Skis are the definition of retro-modern cool! The new look is retro while the ski itself is made from the finest, premium grade materials. This backcountry teleski is based on an "Alpine" ski's sidecut and flex. With a fat dimension of 110-66-96mm and a single camber the Alpine X Terrain skis love to make beautiful turns in the back country fluff. The full metal edges and P-Tex/Posi-Grip waxless skis base will guide you through all types of terrain and snow conditions.
Additional improved features include a shorter, more compact design for excellent maneuverability and a broader shovel and tail for unbelievable snow flotation. The aggressive sidecut delivers quick turns with a very snappy feel on even the trickiest descents. If your idea of back country skiing is sniffing out the most remote powder stash for endless high-adrenaline tele-lapping then the Alpina X Terrain skis are for you. Virtually maintenance free, we recommend simply applying a quick coat of liquid glide wax before each outing, such as Swix Easy Glide (see accessories below), to improve ski glide and prevent snow from sticking to ski bases.

The Alpina X Terrain backcountry / telemark skis are compatible with any NNN, SNS, 75mm-3pin/telemark or AT binding systems.
Recommended Use:
Very fat waxless skis with full-metal edges for serious back country skiers that seek very deep soft snow and fresh powder, but know they'll just as likely find themselves hammering the crud. Ultra-wide shovel & tail for snow flotation with aggressive sidecut design for quick, snappy and true telemark turns.
