The all new, redesigned 2012 Black Diamond GlideLite Mohair Mix Kicker Skins are ultalight half-length skins for those who pack minimally, want good grip but also move quickly and efficiently over lower-angled terrain and won't be anticipating any major / steep vertical pitches (choose the Black Diamond Ascension climbing skins for serious vertical climbing). Simply place the Black Diamond GlideLite Kicker skins in the kick zone, under foot for both traction and glide! Highly packable - can fit in your jacket pocket easily. Attaches very easily with a camlock buckle and nylon strap, and a center glueless strip for easy removal (easy to follow instructions included). Ideal for waxless skis when you need more traction on extended ascents or icier conditions. And for waxable skis, the kicker skins are much easier than kick wax, no more having to guess which wax color is needed & easy kicker skins removal before the downhill of your choice means faster glide if desired. Also great for doing laps on your favorite hill!

SELECTING THE CORRECT WIDTH KICKER SKINS:
Simply determine the width of your ski (in millimeters), measuring the narrowest point at the middle of your skis (if ordering new skis from our website, look for the ski's sidecut dimensions & refer to the middle number). Then select the kicker skins width that is closest to the ski waist width but still less than the width. Example: if your ski's dimensions are 70mm tip - 60mm waist - 65mm tail, you would select the 50mm GlideLite Kicker skins. Easy-to-follow instructions included.
