The legendary Black Diamond Traverse two-part ski poles have always set the bar for adjustable backcountry ski poles, and this year the 2013 Black Diamond Traverse ski poles have set it even higher with an improved FlickLock Pro clamp that makes the classic workhorse backcountry pole better than ever! The ultra-reliable and easy to use FlickLock Pro replaces the original FlickLock mechanism with a newly designed clamp that significantly increases clamping force and sports a slimmer profile.
The Black Diamond Traverse backcountry ski poles are made of two lightweight aluminum shafts that can adjust between 95 – 145cm (short size version) and 105-155cm (long size version). FlickLock Pro adjustment takes a matter of seconds so pole length can easily be adjusted to achieve a longer length for touring sections and a shorter length for cruising downhill. The premium Touring Series grip features a fluted interior to reduce overall weight, and the lightweight webbing strap is ergonomic, easily adjusted and held in place with a ladder-lock buckle. 100mm powder baskets provide flotation in deep snow.
