High density cushioning on the foot bottom and lower leg equals superior comfort with extra warmth. The Over the Calf length fully pads the shins while keeping the socks in place, especially with taller boots, such as ski mountaineering, telemark, alpine, or backcountry ski boots, or snowboard boots.
These winter ski socks are meant to be pulled all the way up to the kneecaps, which also makes them ideal for anyone seeking extra warmth around their lower legs when they’re out in the cold.
