The legendary 2012 Fischer Country Crown waxless skis and Country Wax waxless skis have been in the Fischer Skis line-up for years. Many classic cross country skiing purists swear by these recreational touring skis. They appreciate the Fischer Country Crown skis excellent general touring ski characteristics such as a traditional free flowing and efficient kick and glide found only on longer length skis such as this. The wood core sandwich construction makes it lightweight, durable and resilient. A classic ski featuring Fischer Skis SingleDouble Crown waxless pattern for reliable kick and glide in all snow conditions and climbing hills (or choose the waxable Fischer Country Wax skis version if you prefer using kick wax, klister etc). Also shaped with 8mm of sidecut to allow it to turn with ease both in track and when taking excursions off the trail. For those who are not looking to burn-up the trail, it is a solid performer, whether in or out of the track. The Fischer Country Crown no wax version is virtually maintenance free, we recommend simply applying a quick coat of liquid glide wax before each outing, such as Swix Easy Glide (see accessories below), to improve ski glide and prevent snow from sticking to ski bases.

All-around performance oriented and intermediate skiers dividing their time kick and gliding in groomed ski tracks with adventurous trips to explore untracked wilderness, parks and golf courses. A great choice for real classic technique touring both in and out of ski tracks.
