ATTENTION: These skate skis are compatible with the highly recommended Rottefella X-celerator NIS skate bindings (sold separately) which simply snap onto the factory bonded Nordic Integrated System (NIS) plate that comes included on these skis. See below for details.

The 2011 Fischer RCS Carbonlite Hole Skate NIS skis are the lightest nordic racing skis in the world and the most advanced skating skis in Fischer Skis racing line up. The hole in the ski tip greatly reduces energy loss and power exertion, thus enabling higher stride frequencies and speeds. World Cup and Olympic champions rave about the carbon used in ski core, tip and tail. Fastest base structure options available using Race World Cup processes (1) COLD - for new fallen snow, cold conditions and low humidity; (2) PLUS - for older, warmer snow and more humid conditions; (3) SOFT TRACK (ST) - for very warm, soft & wet conditions so the ski glides over the wet soft snow.
Fischer Skis proprietary computer Flex Control (CFC) ensures each pair of RCS CarbonLite Skating Hole skis are perfectly matched. The AirCore CarbonLite construction with T300 1K carbon fiber used in both the ski tip and ski tail produce skate skis that have the lightest feel available on the market. Improved Diamond Tuned Grinding (DTG) ski base patterns designed for use on the Wold Cup circuit. Prewaxed for maximum speed.
Fischer RCS CarbonLite Hole NIS skate skis are available in stiff and medium flex options.

These skate skis feature the Nordic Integrated System (NIS) which factory bonds the NIS Plate to the skis, allowing you to then snap on the Rottefella X-celerator NIS skate bindings (sold separately). The NIS ski & binding system results in maximum stability and ski control during all phases of the skate stride. Ski bindings are then compatible with any NNN style skate ski boots.
