ATTENTION: These skate skis are compatible with the highly recommended Rottefella X-celerator NIS skate bindings (sold separately) which simply snap onto the factory bonded Nordic Integrated System (NIS) plate that comes included on these skis. See below for details.
With the 2012 Fischer RCS Skating NIS skis there are absolutely no more excuses about equipment slowing you down. The Fischer RCS skate skis feature the latest shape, camber and flex demanded on the World Cup Circuit. Ultra-light skating race skis with the lowest swing weight due to high-tech Speed Tip / Speed Tail design. Fastest base structure options available using Race World Cup processes (1) COLD - for new fallen snow, cold conditions and low humidity; (2) PLUS - for older, warmer snow and more humid conditions. Arrow-shaped side cut design for most efficient performance and dynamics. Patented AirCore construction for lightweight, durability and torsionally rigid skis.
Fischer RCS skating NIS skis are available in medium flex (for lighter weight skiers and/or softer snow conditions) and stiff flex (for heavier weight skiers and/or firm, hard-pack snow conditions) options.
Includes NIS Plate
These skate skis feature the Nordic Integrated System (NIS) which factory bonds the NIS Plate to the skis, allowing you to then snap on the Rottefella X-celerator NIS skate bindings (sold separately). The NIS ski & binding system results in maximum stability and ski control during all phases of the skate stride. Ski bindings are then compatible with any NNN style skate ski boots.

Fischer RCS Skating Ski Technology:- BASE FINISH - DIAMOND TUNED GRINDING (DTG) WORLD CUP: synthetic diamonds are used to create the structure in the ski base
- CORE - AIR CORE: the patented AirCore technology produces lightweight, durable and torsionally rigid skis; Fischer skis have the highest strength-to-weight ratios in the business
- SPEED TIP/TAIL: ultralight laminates in ski tip and tail mean less mass inertia and optimized swing weight. Minimizes ski weight at tip and tail
- EDGE/BASE - POWER EDGE: reinforced ski chassis ensures longer service life; homogenous pressure distribution for uniform wax wear and maximum retention of climbing and gliding characteristics
- PREWAXED: during production, race skis are prewaxed. This reduces base prep time and makes for faster skis in less time
- COMPUTER FLEX CONTROL: examines skis individually and matches according to camber height and camber pressure
