The 2012 Fischer SCS Classic Skis now include NIS technology (see below for details) and are engineered for racers and any serious high-performance classical skiers. The Fischer SCS Classic NIS skis deliver the latest high-performance nordic classic ski technology and race finish at a great price. Now includes all-new patented Air Core Basalight construction, lightweight yet durable and torsionally rigid. An excellent choice for anyone that wants to go fast while also maintaining a very stable balance and kick and glide technique. Fast DTG WC universal base structure using Race World Cup Pro process for a perfect base that is ideal for all conditions. Unique 812 camber construction delivers a clear separation between the kick and glide phase - uniformly engages grip then instantly releases for fastest glide. Less swing weight due to minimized weight at specific points in the ski tip and ski tail, translating into faster and more efficient kick and glide stride. The Fisher SCS Classic skis will meet the demands of any serious nordic classical skiing workout or race. A versatile all-performance classical ski that delivers for all athlete types and snow conditions.

These Fischer SCS Classic cross country skis feature the Nordic Integrated System (NIS) which factory bonds the NIS Plate to the skis, allowing you to then snap on the Rottefella X-celerator NIS sclassic bindings (sold separately) or Rottefella NIS Exercise classic bindings (sold separately). The NIS ski & binding system results in maximum stability and ski control during all phases of the classic kick & glide stride. Ski bindings are then compatible with any NNN style classic ski boots.
