A perennial ORS Cross Country Skis Direct staff favorite, the OR Crocodiles gaitors are constructed of waterproof GoreTex and heavy duty Cordura providing for optimal durability against backcountry & telemark skis metal edges, crampons (when used with snowshoes or winter climbing) and any unfriendly rocks & backwoods brush. With the OR Crocodile gaiters acting as a super shield over your calves you will stay even warmer, prevent water, snow and ice from entering your boots & eliminate possible scratches and cuts to ski pants, socks and skin! The Outdoor Research Crocodiles gaitors instep straps are indestructible by being coated with urethane and the 2 in 1 hook and loop closure aids in keeping nature's harsh elements out. Not only are they the perfect cross country skiing, backcountry and telemark ski companion, they are also ideal for snowshoeing and both winter and summer hiking.
