Nice skis, good price, great customer service

I am just starting as a skate skier, so my ability to review equipment is a little suspect (I CAN say: nice graphics! Nice color coordination of the various components in the package! Nothing seems cheesy! The package arrived quickly!), but all my very experienced skate friends look over my equipment and nod and say the same thing: "Nice skis." The boots are comfortable and seem stiff enough in the right places, the bindings work well, the poles (which are Swix Comp CT5) swing nicely and feel light to me. I like this company, ORS; I like that they're in Vermont and have been in the x-c ski bizness "for over three decades." I like that their web site offers possible discounts if you happen to visit their warehouse when they're unloading a truck and you help. But the real test of a company is when something goes a little wrong: I contacted them to let them know my instructors said my poles were 10 cm too short, and I'd chosen the length based on their size chart. They promised to look into a possible discrepancy on the chart and also promised to send new poles in the correct size with a prepaid return label so I could return the others even though I'd already used them two days. So they sent new poles right away, BEFORE I'd sent the others back so I wouldn't be without poles. Plus they were super nice on the phone. Awesome customer service.

Very pleased with the price and purchase. Service and delivery were first rate. I wish I could comment on performance of the skis but we have not had any snow yet:(
