The 2012 Rossignol BC 110 Positrack backcountry skis are for adventurous skiers looking for a backcountry ski that executes smooth and natural downhill turns, delivers optimum flotation in deep snow, and also allows for touring without requiring climbing skins as an absolute necessity. With a 110mm-78mm-95mm profile, full metal edges and a round flex with a single camber, the Rossignol BC110 skis turn as naturally as true telemark skis in all conditions and terrain -- from soft, fresh deep snow to icy hardpack.
Featuring the advanced, proprietary Rossignol Skis Positrack waxless base pattern, the Rossignol BC 110 skis offer the ability to efficiently kick and glide in back country touring mode along the flats and rollers, as well as the ability to climb long and steep hills without the hassle of first applying climbing skins. The premium air channel wood core keeps overall weight down, resulting in much better efficiency when gravity isn’t helping you along. Combine with any backcountry-telemark ski bindings and stiff all-mountain backcountry ski boots for sweet all-mountain performance.
The Rossignol BC110 backcountry skis are virtually maintenance free waxless skis, we recommend simply applying a quick coat of liquid glide wax before each outing, such as Swix Easy Glide (see accessories below), to improve ski glide and prevent snow from sticking to ski bases. These backcountry-telemark skis are compatible with any NNN, SNS or 75mm-3pin backcountry / telemark ski binding systems.
