The 2012 Rossignol BC 65 backcountry skis are not too fat and not too skinny, but just right for great flotation, control and ease of use. In short, the Rossignol BC65 skis are very fun, all-around backwoods exploring skis for breaking your own trail. Their versatility makes them at home in ski tracks for a change of pace too. The full metal edges provide the security to manuever in slick conditions and making solid turns. The nice wide platform of the Rossignol BC 65 skis will keep you floating on top of deep snow and powder, while the generous sidecut allows for easy turning.
The waxless, extruded base makes maintenance simple with very little upkeep required. These waxless nordic skis also offer a nice glide combined with plenty of grip. Your back door adventures on the Rossignol BC 65 can take you exploring deeper and further as you discover how well they handle the ups and downs and any snow type. Virtually maintenance free, we recommend simply applying a quick coat of liquid glide wax before each outing, such as Swix Easy Glide (see accessories below), to improve ski glide and prevent snow from sticking to ski bases.

The Rossignol BC 65 Positrack backcountry explorer skis are compatible with any NNN, SNS or 75mm-3pin backcountry binding systems.
Recommended Use:
All-around adventure and backwoods explorers looking to break new trails. These backcountry skis will also perform well in ski tracks during occasional visits to nordic touring centers. The full metal edges and wide platform deliver reliable performance in varying conditions including fresh powder and ice. Generous sidecut for confident turning on the downhills too.
