The 2011 Rossignol BC X11 backcountry-telemark ski boots are rugged and aggressive 75mm backcountry ski boots delivering the ideal combination of power, comfort and control for high-performance backcountry touring. Whether your aim is to tick off the laps while nailing your favorite powder stashes with endless sweet telemark turns, or covering miles of untracked remote winter territory to discover one breathtaking scenic view after another, you'll find the Rossignol BCX11 boots provide the aggressive power you demand for making telemark turns in deep snow, crud & ice, yet also remaining comfortable enough for covering any distance while kicking and gliding or skinning up steep vertical. Whereas a full plastic boot can be too heavy and stiff for touring long distances, and a full leather boot can fall short of offering enough support for telemark turns in extreme conditions, the hybrid versatility of the Rossignol BC X11 features the best of both worlds.
An impressive list of features that includes a plastic composite articulating cuff with two Micrometric buckle ratchet adjustment straps along with a plastic heel counter and arch support, all working together to deliver the extra power required for aggressive, high performance back country skiing. Unlike full plastic boots however, the overall weight of the Rossignol BCX11 ski boot remains low, resulting in a more pleasurable and efficient experience when kick & glide backcountry touring and hitting the uphills. Water-resistant and fully insulated for all-day toasty warmth in even the most extreme conditions, full length front zipper lace cover prevents water, snow and ice from entering. Gaiter hook also provided. No other backcountry-telemark boots compare to the Rossignol BC X11 Thermo Adjustable Fit either. During use, as the ski boot inner liner heats up from exertion, the materials actually mould to the shape of your foot for an absolute custom, precise fit and superior control no matter what conditions encountered, from deep powder & fluff to crud and ice.
