ATTENTION: These skis include the factory bonded Rossignol Nordic Integrated System (NIS) plate on the skis (bindings sold separately). See below for details. We highly recommend the Rottefella NIS T4 NNN ski bindings (sold separately) for use with the NIS system on these skis.
The Rossignol Evo Action NIS Positrack skis are fitness and performance oriented waxless recreational touring skis for easy kick and glide classic technique in ski tracks. The Rossignol Evo Action skis are the perfect width for skiing mainly in groomed cross country ski tracks with an occasional trip to an ungroomed golf course or park with a few inches of new snow. The midlength sizing and relaxed flex makes the Evo Action easy to maneuver and control. The classic kick stride, snowplowing, herringbone and cornering are all easy to learn and execute flawlessly every time. The super durable wood core keeps this nordic ski very light and the quiet waxless ski base makes maintenance simple with very little upkeep required. We recommend simply applying a quick coat of liquid glide wax before each outing, such as Swix Easy Glide (see accessories below), to improve ski glide and prevent snow from sticking to ski bases.

The Rossignol Evo Action cross country skis feature the Nordic Integrated System (NIS) which factory bonds the NIS Plate to the skis. Any NIS compatible ski bindings then slide onto the NIS plate resulting in maximum stability and ski control when classic kick-and-glide striding, turning, climbing hills and descending. We highly recommend the Rottefella NIS T4 NNN ski bindings for use with the NIS system on these skis.

Recommended Use:
Performance oriented skiers spending most of their time in groomed ski tracks with some side trips to parks and golf courses. Great choice for real kick and glide fast touring and cardio workouts in groomed ski tracks.
Rossignol Evo Action Ski Technology:- ACTIV CAP: This ski construction changes the ski's behaviour radically by coupling two materials that have different properties: 1) Rossicap - which is highly flexible, affects ski flexibility, frees the ski ends, the tip and tail float and glide freely over bumps and hollows. It's the "snake" effect. 2) Multidirectional fiberglass - gives the ski added twist strength, increases the ski's directional stability; Activ Cap naturally stores the energy of the flex so the harder you push on your ski, the harder it pushes back on the snow
