The 2013 Rossignol Evo Trail Positrack skis are the perfect entry point for discovering the experience of out-the-back door winter exploration in untracked snow. The short length of the Rossignol Evo Trail skis makes them ideal for adventuring into the woods and taking on uphills and downhills. And these backcountry skis won't let you down should you decide to jump into nordic touring center ski tracks for some fun kicking and gliding. The generous wide platform of the Rossignol Evo Trail cross country skis provide great flotation on top of deep snow and powder, while the generous sidecut and short length allows for easy and controlled turning.
The waxless, extruded base makes maintenance simple with very little upkeep required. These waxless xc skis also offer a nice glide combined with plenty of grip. The Evo Trail will open your eyes to the thrill of blazing your own trails and you'll never look back. Virtually maintenance free, we recommend simply applying a quick coat of liquid glide wax before each outing, such as Swix Easy Glide (see accessories below), to improve ski glide and prevent snow from sticking to ski bases.

Entry level out-the-back door exploration and backwoods adventure for those seeking to experience the thrill of blazing their own trails. These backcountry skis will also provide good kick and glide in ski tracks during occasional visits to nordic ski touring centers. Wide platform for floating on top of the snow combined with short length and generous sidecut for confident turning on the downhills and maneuvering in wooded surroundings.
Rossignol Evo Trail Ski Technology:- ACTIV CAP: This ski construction changes the ski's behaviour radically by coupling two materials that have different properties: 1) Rossicap - which is highly flexible, affects ski flexibility, frees the ski ends, the tip and tail float and glide freely over bumps and hollows. It's the "snake" effect. 2) Multidirectional fiberglass - gives the ski added twist strength, increases the ski's directional stability; Activ Cap naturally stores the energy of the flex so the harder you push on your ski, the harder it pushes back on the snow
