The 2010 Rossignol X-Tour Venture JR kid's nordic skis are the answer to introducing children of all ages to cross country skiing. The kids Rossignol XTour Venture JR skis offer universal stability and maneuverability both in ski tracks as well as off trail adventure in woods, open meadows or just romping around in knee deep fluff in the back yard. Virtually maintenance free, these children's waxless skis deliver excellent grip on the uphills and kicking and gliding, yet also ensure kids will have mile wide smiles on the downhills. And once your child is hooked on cross country skiing, you can continue to count on the Rossignol X-Tour Venture skis to keep up with your child's developing skills and abilities. Designed with Rossignol Skis AR technology, the X-Tour Venture is lightweight, handles & maneuvers flawlessly and is durably built and kid tested.
These kid's skis are available in a great size range to fit both younger children and older kids alike (see size chart below). Excellent turning skis and offer plenty of grip (virtually maintenance-free, waxless ski bases work great in all snow types & conditions; we recommend simply applying a quick coat of liquid glide wax before each outing, such as Swix Easy Glide - see accessories below - to improve ski glide and prevent snow from sticking to ski bases.) Whether well versed in nordic skiing technique or a total beginner, the Rossignol X-Tour Venture JR is the ideal choice for any child. Compatible with any NNN style ski boots and bindings (We recommend the Fischer XJ Sprint NNN ski boots and Rottefella Dino JR NNN ski bindings).

Ideally suited for both younger and older children curious to try classic kick & glide for the first time and/or furthering their skills.
