Updated and better than ever, the women's 2013 Rossignol X5 FW NNN ski boots are the superb, high-performance, all-around recreational touring choice. Designed to deliver the most enjoyment possible out of cross country skiing. If you’re looking for optimum warmth and comfort along with plenty of ankle and heel support for maximum stability and control, the women's Rossignol X5 FW ski boots are what you want on your feet. Wear them when kick and glide stride skiing at nordic touring ski centers, local park trails, or even adventurous exploration through fresh snow covering rolling meadows, open fields and more.
Maximum warmth and comfort is achieved with a Thinsulate polar liner and Thermo Adjustable heat moldable liner that naturally conforms to the contours of the foot for a truly customized fit. The foot is held firmly in place with the Lock Down System, a proprietary Rossignol precision foot wrapping system that locks the heel and instep in place for minimal foot movement that results in maximum control. The Speed Lace Locking system adjusts to the perfect tension around the foot with just one pull and is easily tightened and released with gloves or mittens on. An external 3D heel counter and free-hinge cuff and power strap fully stabilize the heel and ankle for increased control when turning, slowing, and stopping. A zippered lace cover keeps snow and ice out, as well as retaining heat within. The women's Rossignol X5 FW ski boots are compatible with NNN Recreational Touring and Out-the-back-Door Explorer ski bindings. Not compatible with NNN BC bindings.

Targeted for beginning to advanced recreational touring skiers who prioritize high-performance along with reliable comfort and warmth. With a pivoting cuff, the women's X5 FW has plenty of ankle and heel support for maximum lateral stability, making it ideal for efficient kicking and gliding in ski tracks at nordic touring centers, local ski trails, as well as exploring untracked fresh snow covering rolling terrain. Compatible with NNN Recreational Touring and Out-the-back-Door Explorer ski bindings. Not compatible with NNN BC bindings.
