The 2008 Rossignol Zynex Skate Skis are designed to make learning the cross country skating technique super easy so you can enjoy the thrill and excellent work-out of skate skiing. The Rossignol Zynex has a stable platform for great balance and stability and a very lightweight wood core to make it easy on the leg muscles. Overall, this nordic skate ski is a great choice for general cross training and recreational racers seeking to balance stability, weight, performance, and their checkbook. The Zynex ski's sidecut and light weight work to translate your natural stride into an efficient skating stride. Rossignol's Ultra Air core has a comfortable flex and camber for beginners and intermediate skiers. Rossignol definitely has included many high-end features and technology too. The Zynex Skating Ski has a carbon base to allow you to optionally, but not required, iron on the perfect wax for any snow type and temperature. The ski base stone finish also delivers fast glide in all conditions.
These skate skis are compatible with both SNS and NNN skate binding systems.

Rossignol Zynex Skating Ski Technology: - ACTIV CAP: This ski construction changes the ski's behaviour radically by coupling two materials that have different properties: 1) Rossicap - which is highly flexible, affects ski flexibility, frees the ski ends, the tip and tail float and glide freely over bumps and hollows. It's the "snake" effect. 2) Multidirectional fiberglass - gives the ski added twist strength, increases the ski's directional stability; Activ Cap naturally stores the energy of the flex so the harder you push on your ski, the harder it pushes back on the snow
- ULTRA-AIR CONSTRUCTION: ultra lightweight
- STONE FINISH: the base is prepared and finished on a grinding wheel, a method developed by Rossignol for optimizing glide qualities
- SKATING DOUBLE GUIDE GROOVE: stabilizes the skate ski and makes gliding easier, whatever the skis's position on the snow
- COBRA RACING: for extremely free-flowing and stable skating; at the end of the gliding phase, this system enables a quicker return to the steering axis
