CH stands for HydroCarbon, and in this case, performance. Swix CH Glide Wax for Nordic Ski Racing, Alpine Skis and Snowboards has no fluorocarbon material in the blends and are made up of 100% high performance hydrocarbon paraffins. Although Swix CH Wax can be looked upon as an economical choice for ski racing glide wax - the colder waxes perform very well alone, and the warmer waxes also make good base layers for Cera F. Available colors: CH004-CH4 Green, CH006-CH6 Blue, CH007-CH7 Violet, CH008-CH8 Red, CH010-CH10 Yellow and CH012-CH12 Combi.
The Swix CH HydroCarbon wax colors and temperature ranges coincide with the Swix HF waxes and Swix LF waxes. The Swix CH wax can be distinguished from the Swix LF wax by their darker shade of color.
Recommended Use:
Hot wax application of Swix CH Cera Nova wax results in excellent performance for skate skis and can also be used for classic / kick skis in the glide zone on the tips and tail of the ski. Can also be used for alpine skis and snowboards. Available in 60g block or 180g block.

Swix CH 4 Green is slightly harder than HF4 and LF4. It is an excellent race wax used alone in very cold, dry conditions. It can be mixed
with other Cera Nova waxes to increase durability on ice and aggressive man-made
snow, especially for alpine ski racing slalom and giant slalom. |

Common winter time temperature range plus the addition of
some synthetic wax to further adapt the wax for man-made snow. Swix CH 6 Blue is a very good
wax for training in summer on glacier snow. It offers good glide plus base protection

(21°F to 10°F) | Swix CH7 Violet Wax
Swix CH 7 Violet is a good general purpose pre-wax and travel wax because its range for use falls in the middle of the system. CH7 makes a good base bonding wax for either warmer
or colder waxes applied later. For summer and glacier skiing and riding it provides
good glide plus good base protection especially when mixed with Swix CH3 Cold Powder. | -2°C

Swix CH 8 Red is a very good, reliable and economical racing wax, as well as
