Don't let difficult snow keep you from XC skiing. A layer of Swix Universal Klister for Nordic Skis will allow you to glide and kick efficiently in granular, coarse snow - both soft and frozen or fine wet snow. K22N Swix VM Universal Klister and K21N Swix Silver Universal Klister are frequently suggested for use by recreational classic xc skiers as they provide two easy choices, but are also used by kick ski racers. This Klister comes in a convenient 55g tube.
Recommended Use:
Apply Swix Universal Klister to XC Classic / Kick Skis when skiing in some less than ideal conditions (particularly useful for spring skiing and January thaw).
K22N VM UNIVERSAL KLISTER
Temperature:
+10°C to -3°C (50°F to 27°F)
Frozen Corn Snow | Wet Corn Snow
For coarse, granular snow changing from wet to crust. A very popular and flexible “all round” klister. Works particularly well in wet conditions.
K21N SILVER UNIVERSAL KLISTER
Temperature:
+3°C to -5°C (37°F to 23°F)
Transformed Fine Grained Snow | Frozen Corn Snow | Wet Corn Snow
Working on both sides of freezing when conditions are changing between coarse and transformed moist to wet fine grained snow. It works in finer snow than the VM Universal Klister. Remember that the newer/finer the snow, the less klister should be applied.
