The 2012 Voile SplitBoard Climbing Skins are specifically designed to allow a split board to climb virtually any vertical in the backcountry! These Voile climbing skins are cut to fit each right and left splitboard half. Conveniently available in one universal size to fit any splitboard base running surface. Includes a trim tool if necessary to make any adjustments to length of splitboard climbing skins.
The Voile SplitBoard Climbing Skins include a bomber, rugged riveted stainless steel tip loop, capable of withstanding any abuse you can throw at them while skinning up and vertical. Proven and reliable, the material is a very hydrophobic nylon mohair, while the glue is the most tenacious available on the market. Includes a tafetta nylon strip that runs the entire length of both Voile Split Board climbing skins for stowing the skins folded glue side to glue side. The tafetta strip makes it much easier to pull apart. If you are seeking all the glue surface you can possibly get then the strip can easily be removed without causing any damage to the glue or climbing skin material.
