The 2013 Voile Vector BC skis are exactly what heavenly backcountry dreams are made of! Taking their award-winning Vector ski and adding a fish scale base, Voile Skis has created the revolutionary new Vector BC, the ultimate waxless backcountry skis capable of tackling virtually any terrain and conditions you can point it at. Climb up without skins and ski down without limits!
The Voile Vector BC skis feature an advanced, waxless base pattern to facilitate backcountry touring on flat or rolling terrain as well as the ability to climb straignt up any moderate angle ascents and traversing steeper uphills without the hassle of having to apply kicker skins or climbing skins. It's proprietary Voile Skis rocker tip profile and mid-fat dimension means it can float through powder all day long, yet it is narrow and shapely enough to hold a solid edge on hardpack. And with its Aspen wood core, the Vector BC is ultra light weight, so it won’t bog you down during epic all day excursions.
Voile also included full length metal edges to turn this ski into an incredibly versatile tool, universally equipped to deliver flawless edge grabbing control when required, dreamy powder float performance and solid grip and glide mobility all the way out and back. Nothing fazes the Vector BC, handles slush and crud as well as the fluff. Combine with 75mm 3-pin bindings and stiff backcountry ski boots for outstanding all-mountain touring performance and sugary telemark turns on the down. Virtually maintenance free, we recommend simply applying a quick coat of liquid glide wax before each outing, such as Swix Easy Glide (see accessories below), to improve ski glide and prevent snow from sticking to ski bases.
